Job Purpose
He/she will act as a consultant for Client Trading Trade Marketing and Marketing teams in all topics related to trade marketing Distributor activities in South Iraq (Baghdad and Basra).
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Distributor team by scaling up competencies to improve the execution of Trade Marketing activities according to the Calendar for both MT and Lower Trade as agreed between the Distributor and Client Trading management
- Support the relationship between the Distributor South Iraq Team and the Client Trade Marketing team for the development, localization, and deployment of Display materials
- Support the business in identifying the Distribution gap for the core brand and ensure the proper distribution on NPD
- Ensure effective cycle of communication and feedback of MIS Reports between Client MIS team and Distributor team
- In partnership with the Distributor teams, provide reports to clients trading on visibility projects (i.e.: fridge performance, Golden Store, Countertop, etc…)
- Identify local Trade Marketing Initiatives with the objective to improve Quality, Visibility and Distribution
- Conduct Store checks and provide Client Trading Management with reports on Improvement areas/opportunities as well as Competition initiatives and products
- Support the TM in holding Quarterly training and Business review
Detailed weekly Responsibilities
Field Work (2 Days/Week):
- Conduct store visits to assess the execution of merchandising standards and promotional activities
- Evaluate the effectiveness of projects, including Countertop displays, Golden stores, and fridge placements
- Collaborate with distributors to ensure compliance with branding guidelines and marketing strategies
- Identify new market opportunities to enhance brand presence and sales
- Gather insights on competitor activities, evaluating their strengths and strategies
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on store conditions, promotional effectiveness, and areas for improvement
Office Work (3 Days/Week):
- Analyze field data and prepare actionable insights for the Trade Marketing Manager
- Follow up on the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities done in the market
- Follow up on Client projects (Fridges, GS…)
- Coordinate with internal teams to align trade marketing initiatives with overall brand strategies
- Share monthly competitor reports detailing their successful initiatives and performance, comparing them with the Client's strategies
- Check for reputable agencies working in the FMCG sector for branding, signage, and in-store promotions to secure the best quality at competitive prices
Requirements
- Qualifications: BA or BSc from a Reputable University
- Experience: 3-5 Years of experience in Trade Marketing preferably in FMCG
