Job Objective
Supervises and monitors catering and associated services provided by the Contractor to ensure that the services are provided to be in high standards and in compliance with the Contract terms and conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervises the catering, housekeeping, laundry, pest control activities or others requested by line manager on remote sites to ensure quality & quantity of services and report if any shortage to line manager
- Carries out hygiene inspections for all catering premises to ensure that required standards are complied with Company Policy and Procedures
- Inspects contractors’ stores regularly to ensure that the contractor is marinating proper hygienic environment and good stock of foodstuff and others supplies
- Perform other duties such as attending meetings and organizing catering services for special events, VIP visitors and parties
- Promptly liaise with related Contractors for Invoice processing
- Complete the paper works in good manner i.e. GRN, diesel delivery notes, RO water delivery notes, dining sign-off sheets
- Observing safety rules and regulations
- Work according to established policy and procedures.
- Supervises: Upon the Assignment
- Walking and standing while monitoring the service approximately 60% of work time.
- 10% of working time exposure to prevailing weather conditions.
COMMUNICATIONS
Internal:
- Regular contacts with Deputy Manager, Section Head, Service Labor. Representatives of field sections from different department to discuss the catering requirements and follow up on the services
- Regular contacts the contracted catering and associated service providers to discuss the issues of catering services
Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma 3 years in B.A or equivalent
- Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate
- Good background knowledge on catering ISO 2200 Good knowledge on HSE
- 3 years’ experience in the field of catering services
- Good at written and spoken English
