Role Synopsis
- The ESS Field Engineer provides engineer-level implementation and support for all aspects of the Field ESP CCTV System including hardware, software, and associated networking components
- Continual growth is planned over the next few years and the ESS Field Engineer will function as the main focal point in the field to oversee and support
- The ESS Field Engineer shall also oversee field maintenance/project activities for the ESP CCTV System to achieve performance targets for reliability and system availability
- The role requires an individual with leadership capabilities and multitasking skills as well as an excellent understanding of Electronic Security Systems
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, train, upgrade, and support ESP CCTV Systems
- Manage ESS Vendor activities in the field
- Conduct Site surveys for new ESP CCTV Installation Works
- Manage ESP CCTV Faults, Jobs, status, and updates
- Maintain ESP CCTV infrastructure capability to meet service level targets
- Maintain accurate documentation for ESS-related systems
- Maintain stock inventory updates and ensure spares availability
- Define and execute ESP CCTV-related 'changes'
- Provide first/second level support for ESP CCTV incidents
- Identify risks to service delivery, recommend options to address risks and execute approved options
- Consider, recommend & implement procedures to improve efficiency
- Provide a structured daily/weekly report that monitors progress on Incidents, Projects, Key Activity and Management Information
Requirements
- Experience in the field of IT/CCTV
- 3-5 years’ experience working in CCTV Systems
- Digital Video Certifications are desirable
- Experience working as hands-on remote support in an Oil & Gas field
- Experience working with CoW/HSE process
- Experience working within the requirements of a change management system
- Experience working within a support/project environment
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent English Language proficiency
