mselect is looking for an HR Campaigns Coordinator for an international energy client in Basrah, Iraq. Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in independently managing complex HR or relevant corporate projects. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

HSE:
  • Implement HSE component in HR projects
  • Ensure new HR processes and systems adhere to regulatory requirements
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive HR data
Campaigns/ Projects Planning and Objectives:
  • Monitor information from HQ and affiliate leadership regarding the upcoming HR Campaigns/ Projects
  • Develop and keep up-to-date the yearly HR Campaigns/ Projects Calendar
  • Collaborate with HR leaders and stakeholders to define clear project objectives, scope, and deliverables for each HR initiative
  • Develop detailed campaigns/ project plans, including timelines, milestones, resources, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Onboard campaign/ project stakeholder accordingly
Campaigns/ Projects Execution and Monitoring:
  • Oversee the end-to-end process, ensuring campaigns/projects are executed in alignment with the established plans and objectives
  • Manage campaign/project timelines meticulously, ensuring all project tasks and milestones are completed on schedule.
  • Proactively identify potential bottlenecks and take decisive actions to maintain campaign/ project progress
Resource Management:
  • Proactively collaborate with HR team representatives from different disciplines/ departments and other stakeholders' representatives to secure the necessary expertise and support for each HR campaign/project, and ensure their valuable contributions and commitment throughout the campaign/project lifecycle
  • Effectively allocate resources, including personnel and budget, for the timely completion of campaigns/ projects
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages open communication, active participation, consensus-building among project groups, while maintaining commitment to project goals and timelines
Quality and Risk Management:
  • Ensure that HR campaigns/projects adhere to highest quality standards and best practices
  • Conduct periodic reviews and audits to validate campaigns/ project deliverables and compliance with HR policies
  • Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on campaign/project outcomes
  • Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges
Change Management:
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to promote smooth adoption of new HR processes and systems
  • Support stakeholders in understanding the benefits and impact of project changes
Reporting and Continuous Improvement:
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, status reports, and return of experience
  • Generate regular reports on project status, progress, and key performance metrics
  • Conduct project reviews and return of experience sessions to identify areas for improvement and incorporate feedback into future project planning
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the HR project management framework.
  • Liaise with tax and social security authorities to ensure acknowledgment of reporting and payments
Other:
  • Proactively contribute to optimization of internal practices and reporting, automation of the processes
  • Provide support to HR teams on other topics as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is highly advantageous
  • Proven 5+ years of experience in independently managing complex HR or relevant corporate projects and applying best-in-class project management principles (or 7+ years if Bachelor’s degree)
  • Good knowledge of HR processes, procedures, and systems
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project groups and stakeholders' representatives
  • Persuasive and influential communicator, capable of convincing stakeholders to participate in project groups and maintain their commitment throughout the project lifecycle
  • Analytical mindset with problem- solving abilities to address project challenges and drive successful outcomes
  • Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of Iraqi Labour legislation
  • Familiarity with Project management tools, general IT proficiency
  • Fluent English (written and oral), Arabic
  • Cross-cultural thinking
