Job Purpose
The Business after-delivery engineer is responsible for the scope of projects after being delivered to operations as a warranty focal point and has direct responsibility for warranty support, reporting, and product quality improvement activities related to product warranty obligations and requirements. This position will give the opportunity to grow to become an active partner and solution visionary who shapes the technology demand and direction in the business community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warranty technical support and expertise to the specific individual warranty for various IT projects
- Support the IT Business Manager to build the team to maintain delivered projects, the after-delivery engineer needs to understand SLA and the parameters of the system
- Fix issues and failures with manufacturers when the system is broken
- Preparation of training material from the delivery of the project
- Maintain strong external and internal interface with vendors Product Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Program Management to create cross-functional teams to communicate warranty information and provide failed parts/data for analysis to provide effective improvement and reporting of organizational and customer warranty issues
- Review warranty processes and applicable data processing/storage systems to provide updates necessary to meet company requirements and to sustain effective and efficient data/part processing response time to internal and external customers
- Work with IT team members to maintain delivered projects
- Provide and manage a framework for the warranty returns, customer concerns and the company problem-solving/root cause analysis system
- Flexible to accept any other tasks assigned by the Business Manager and related to and required by the Business section, and implement them in a professional manner
Requirements
- BSc Degree in Engineering, Information Management, Business Management or Minimum Education or Certification: 4-year Degree related to IT
- 4 years of relevant job experience within the Oil & Gas industry or IT/Telecom domain
- Having good expertise in Oil and Gas Telecom equipment installation and maintenance
- Have network/telecom concepts
- Have various system troubleshooting expertise
- Fluent English language
- Strong Presentation and reporting skills
