mselect is looking to hire a Marketing Operations Analyst for an international fintech client in Beirut, Lebanon. Candidates must have a minimum of 7-8 years of relevant experience in blue-chip retail or service sector organization in the payments industry. Fluency in English, French, and Arabic is a must.

Role Synopsis
The role of “Marketing Operations Analyst” is a position in the client’s NALP Marketing organization that will be responsible for managing and implementing marketing operations for client marketing initiatives in NALP. This candidate will be accountable for ensuring that operational processes work efficiently within NALP team with respect to marketing budget management and adherence to policies and processes for marketing activities. Working with the Head of Marketing Services NALP on the compilation of finance reports and annual budget commitments will be a key responsibility in this role. Responsibilities for the role include: administrative coordination and reconciliation of marketing budgets with different marketing team stakeholders, finance and controllership teams, processes implementation, system updates and report extraction, contracting & reporting for marketing services projects in NALP. This role reports to the Marketing Director for Marketing Services North Africa, Levant, & Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities:

NALP Budget Administration and management:
  • Management reporting/tracking for marketing VIK and marketing cash incentives
  • Liaison with finance and reporting of monthly budget forecasts, actuals vs budget, & conduct variance analysis
  • Management and administration of the budget tracking sheets, in conjunction with marketing team ensure that that monthly, quarterly and annual spend targets are met optimally and efficiently
  • Reconciliation of third-party invoices, invoice matching
  • Lead the quarterly forecast and reporting process along with supporting with Marketing AOP submission
  • Lead monthly closing & reconciliation with ops and finance teams
  • Design and maintain budget reports and dashboards for use by budget owners/ stakeholders to understand weekly/ monthly/ quarterly spend
  • Preparation and storing of audit ready documentation related to monthly Work statements, POs, Accruals, invoices, goods received notes and credit notes (including compliance deliverables)
  • Actualizing monthly spend & initiating invoicing for marketing services projects
  • Weekly update on VPC for marketing services projects: updating status, spend, revenue, and phasing.
  • Ensure all marketing finance and administrative policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure adherence of processes and procedures pertaining to marketing budgets

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in business or a related field with a finance or accounting foundation
  • The successful candidate should have significant work experience in a blue-chip retail or service sector organization. Financial services experience would be advantageous
  • At least 6-7 years relevant experience
Key Competencies:
  • Experience supporting the Marketing function within a multinational organization
  • Intermediate finance qualification with the ability to run basic financial analysis
  • Excel literate with an ability to set up and manage Excel templates and formulates including currency exchange calculations
  • Power point literate
  • Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently
