Job purpose
Mechanical Engineer with relative experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry, to provide mechanical engineering support for project and MOCs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reporting to the engineering and maintenance readiness superintendent
- Participate in gathering all data required to prepare engineering work pack for MOC initiated related to mechanical work
- Carry out sit visit to review and identify the actual information needed for prepare EWP
- To co-ordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up
- Review and supervise the execution of engineering work pack related to mechanical work carried out by execution party
- To assist in the coordination of all activities related to mechanical engineering design
- To ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule.

- Willing to understanding of the fundamentals of mechanical engineering design and analysis, Thorough awareness of relevant international codes and standards
- Willing to learning the typical software packages that are used for mechanical engineering design
- To identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required
REQUIREMENTS
Qualification:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc./B.Eng./M.Sc.)
- Proficient in the use of computers and basic software packages (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel)
- Ability to read, understand and adhere to standard operating procedures
- 5+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering in Oil and Gas Operations is required. Additional experience in the modernization of Brownfields facilities is a plus
