MSELECT is looking to hire a Project Manager for a construction client in Erbil. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of project management experience and be fluent in English, Kurdish, and Arabic.
JOB OBJECTIVE
Manage the project team in planning and completing approved plans according to high quality standards in the approved time frame and at a reasonable cost. Planning, follow-up and supervision of all work of operation and maintenance, carrying out economic feasibility studies and studies necessary for the development of work and coordination with the management of the company and tenants regarding the maintenance, marketing and sales work in the project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management:
- Supervising the project team and providing them with technical and administrative guidance
- Prepare plans and time schedules for the project
- Ensure a good management and investment of the financial, material and human resources working on the project
- Ensure the achievements of the project and compare it with the approved plans
- Prepare initial and final certificate reports and submit them to the project owner for approval
- Reporting on variations and modifications related to the project, time schedules and related budgets and submitting them to the project owner for approval
- Submitting periodic reports on the technical and administrative status of the project and indicating the completion ratios, communicating with contractors, discussing and negotiating them to ensure the interest of the project
- Participating in the proposal of policies, work programs, general executive plans of the project and departments within the related department specialties
- Follow-up on the implementation of policies, plans and programs of works
Maintenance and Marketing:
- Develop a long, medium and short-term plan for the operation, maintenance and marketing work of the project in coordination with the specialized sections
- Submit proposals for electrical and mechanical construction, marketing and sales that serve the project
- Adopting the needs of the necessary materials, equipment and spare parts for maintenance management and follow-up of the procurement process with the project management
- Coordination with tenants regarding the planning and implementation of maintenance and problem solving
- Supervising the maintenance, operation, marketing and sales business teams and following up their work
- Adopting the human resources needs to work in the section in coordination with the project management
- Work to apply the quality procedures in the project
- Hold regular meetings with staff to discuss the working procedures, the extent to which the agreed plan is implemented, draw out the difficulties they face in performing their duties, and work to resolve them
- Follow-up the collection of rent, electricity fees and other services from tenants in its times in coordination with the financial management of the company
- Preparing periodic reports on the work of the sections, including all the achievements, obstacles and proposed solutions for the development of work and performance, and submitting them to the project owner
- Participate in meetings related to the project and any other meeting in which it is required to participate, express opinions and participate in the results and decisions
- Supervising the observance of professional and industrial safety when implementing the activities of the project
- Work to transfer expertise and skills to the rest of the team
QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor's degree in one of the construction engineering fields
- At least 10 years of experience in project management
