Job Purpose
The Well Services WSL reports to the Well Services Team Leader. The position is responsible for the integration of good oil field practices through site inspections and self-verification. The position is required to lead by example and be the designate on location, engage in all onsite TBT, RA and ensure the SWA authority is understood and used, this position shall understand and follow the site work program and communicate direct to the Coordinator/Superintendent if any unsafe action, condition or deviation is observed.
Key Responsibilities
- Active leadership on the well site
- Support WS Superintendents around managing the service providers through audit, verification and inspection promoting good HSE & oil field practices
- Ensure safe and efficient operations on the well site, and ensure compliance with all Safety, Operational and/or technical policies, standards & procedures
- Support and engage in post job meetings and help develop after action review/lessons learned to enable continuous improvements (as and when required
- Provide regular detailed feedback on performance of WS contractors highlighting areas of improvement/support required
- Attendance and participation in WS meetings and reviews (as and when required)
- Maintain close working relationship with all contractors at the well site
- Ensure that all operations follow/observe the Site Safety Management System
- Provide daily reports detailing operations from assigned locations
Requirements
- 3 Years’ experience of working as a senior field engineer or equivalent position
- Educated to Bachelor of Science (Physics / Chemistry) or Science in Engineering or equivalent
- Good communication and coaching skills
- Strong team player
- Aptitude to innovate and be open to new ideas
- Flexible approach to work
