Job Objective
Directly reporting to the M & L supervisors and M & L manager the wells materials controller/ coordinator will 5/2 based position`s that will be a key focal point for the day-to-day logistics, equipment and services support to workover, drilling, and well services operations and the interactions with the client for all wells equipment issuances, receipts, housekeeping, inventory management, and rig returns. A strong working relationship with drilling, workovers, completions, well services logistics, materials and HSE teams will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Focal point for Well site logistics and receipt of equipment in a safe manner keeping all records of equipment arriving and being returned for respective dedicated Drilling/ Workover rigs
- Focal point for creating equipment document packages (Manifests, MITs, RTS, RFI, MTT) For respective Drilling and workover rigs. Working with HQ based engineering and delivery teams in issuing Call outs and equipment paperwork
- Keep a full and accurate spreadsheet of all equipment and service company equipment stored at rig site (OCTG, Wellheads, Drill bits, drilling tools)
- Keeping up to date all folders and files in wells T drive for respective operations
- Ensure all equipment required to be sent back from rig site to the client or vendor is manifested correctly and the correct descriptions and QTYS are clearly listed on the paperwork, check equipment returns from rigs and assist the crews in identification, relocating to correct locations and assisting with any problems
- Follow all safety rule and look to work alongside based personnel in a safe and efficient manner. Attend safety meetings and toolbox talks, attitude to always promote safety
- Liaise with inventory team for all stock issues and reconciliations, rig returns, equipment stored in containers and Half heights in Wells locations
- Will need to communicate with all vendors in the planning of all truck and equipment movements to rig sites and around the field. Follow up of issued instructions is critical
- Involvement with machine shops in the identification of shoe equipment, cross overs and pup joints as required, report requirements to M & L Manager
- Working alongside Cameron and BH staff in Well head activities, learning, receipt, staging and loading out of Wellhead equipment. Accountable for assuring WH staging area is correct and all equipment there is required in the next 4-6 weeks only
- Will participate and assist in inventory and finance stock checks for Wells equipment, inventory control and Wells process management
Key Qualifications
- Minimum 3-year track record Wells Materials and Logistics controller
- Reasonable knowledge of Wells terminology, OCTG, API standards, Machine shop operations, Transportation procedures, equipment and Wells practises
- Strong team player
- Good English Oral and Written skills
- Good IT skills
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate
