Job Purpose
The Business administrator is responsible for implementing business processes and procedures and assisting in resolving business administrative requirements. This position will give the opportunity to grow to become an active thought partner and solution visionary who shapes the technology demand and direction in the business community.
Key Responsibilities
- Focal point for IT department-related RTW process, accommodation/office demand, IT team onboarding requirements, and other administrative duties
- Assess Business Manager to prepare high-quality presentations and reports
- Ensure always to have smart thinking, excellent charisma and a lovely personality with sustain outstanding lovely and friendly relationships with all IMIT teams’ members and other stakeholders
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with the IMIT community, employees, and public interest groups,
- Organizing and attending promotional events such as conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours and visits
- Support Business Manager to identify and maintain IT policies implementations, development, tracking and execution
- Support the IMIT team in the facilitation of events and large sessions
- Assess and model processes, data flows, and technology to understand the current value and issues, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Performs IT business administration tasks, identifies root causes, and develops recommendations/solutions to support the Business Manager in driving partner improvements
- Manages complex data and business analyses to assist the Business Manager in developing business plans and making recommendations
- Support the Business Manager and business section in designing the IT processes
- Develop an understanding of the competitive demands that the business faces and their potential implications and provide business alternatives/solutions
- Continually challenge current thinking and make recommendations to the Business Manager on how to optimize business opportunities
- Research potential solutions and innovative ideas
- Guide business stakeholders to gain acceptance / sign-off despite competing objectives
- Generate innovative approaches to existing problems or new opportunities
- Work closely with the Business Manager to build trust and understand goals, motivations, constraints, risks, and operating environment
- Flexible to accept any other tasks assigned by the Business Manager and related to and required by the Business section, and implement them in a professional manner
Requirements
Qualification:
BSc Degree in Engineering, Information Management, Business Management or Minimum Education or Certification: 4-year Degree related to IT.
Experience:
- 5 years of relevant job experience
- Experience within the IT or Oil & Gas industry is a plus
- Working with multi-national originations
- Proven experience in office tasks such as producing reports and presentations, minutes of meetings, and team support documentation
